Meet Our Pastors
Dr. Jason S. Price, Th.D
Jason Price serves as our Senior Pastor. His primary interest is the study and teaching of God’s word that magnifies the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ to both adults and children for equipping Christians in biblical spiritual disciplines and godly character in every aspect of life.
Jason was born and raised in Houston, TX. He is married to Kendra Price, whom he met at Prairie View A&M University in 1998. He graduated with his Bachelor of Architecture in 2001, and they married in 2002. The Lord has blessed them with four children named Jacqueline, Jasmine, Samuel, and Sarah. He came to Christ in October 2010 in Wiesbaden, Germany. He was ordained in 2017 as Associate Pastor at Southern Hills Baptist Church (SHBC). In July 2022, he was installed as Senior Pastor at SHBC.
Jason graduated from the True Living Word School of Ministry (TLWSOM) with his M.A. in Biblical Studies (2015) and a Doctor of Theology (Th.D) in 2017. He also served as a professor at TLWSOM from 2017-2020. He was a professor of Old Testament Survey, Ministerial Ethics, and Expository Study of Ephesians.
Mr. Norman Lance, M.A.
Norman Lance serves as our Associate Pastor. He is a life-long Texan who grew up near Dallas. He learned to speak Spanish while studying at The University Of Texas at El Paso where he graduated in 1979 with a Bachelor’s in Speech Communication. He married Juanita Gonzalez in 1978 and they have 4 children and 10 grandchildren.
Norman attended Dallas Baptist University to complete a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies in 1996 with an emphasis in Biblical exegesis with Hebrew and Greek. He was ordained to the ministry in 1987 at Glendale Baptist Church in Duncanville Texas. He was Pastor of a Spanish speaking outreach in Dallas County for 7 years. Later he was Pastor of a Spanish speaking mission church in Fannin County for 22 years. In addition, he has been involved in Spanish speaking ministries to inmates at jails, prisons, and detention centers for 25 years.
Norman and Juanita relocated to the Hill Country of Texas in 2017 and have been a part of Southern Hills Baptist Church (SHBC) since December of 2021.He was installed as Associate Pastor at SHBC in December 2022.
